01. How can I send a digital impression?
There are two ways of sending your digital impressions:

1. “The Cloud”. You can use the cloud by adding our profile: with the following scanners: Itero, 3Shape, sirona and medit.

2. You can also submit your digital impression taken by an Intra Oral scanner by the scanner supplied software or through (WeTransfer) or any other cloud to
02. Which software or system can I use to send the intra oral scan by cloud to your lab?
You can use any of the following systems; iTero, 3Shape, Medit and Sirona.
03. Which format/file extensions of the Intra Oral Scans do you accept?
The following format/file extensions are accepted: *.STL - *.3OXY - *.DCM - *.PLY - and CBCT Dicom.
04. Can I send a patient for shade taking?
Yes, you can send your patient for shading by scheduling an appointment with the coordination department: email to or call +971 4 3591050 to arrange an appointment (subject to approval)
05. Can you send me photographs of the ceramist work (during production)?
We are unable to provide photographs during production .
06. Can you send me photographs of the final work before sending the case?
We are unable to provide photographs before sending the case.
07. Can I know the assigned technician for my case?
Technicians are assigned based on different factors; therefore, we are unable to provide you with the name of the technician.

Implant planning cases:

01. What should I attach along with my case?
You can send the Intra Oral scans, CBCT and Photographs.

For dentate patient or immediate implant placement: -CBCT (DICOM file), impressions (digital or conventional) and bite registration.

Full mouth or anterior zone cases:
1. Upright position with exaggerated smile (to check the occlusion plane)
2. lateral profile

For edentulous patients: Dicom file for, Dual CBCT scanning for the denture with GP reference points (6 points minimum)
02. Can we schedule an online meeting to discuss the case?
Yes, you can schedule an appointment by visiting
03. What are the steps for the full arch cases?
You can follow the following steps:
Planning / Surgical Guide / Jigs/ Special Trays / Bite Rims / PMMA / Final Zirconia.
04. Do you process immediate loading cases?
-Yes, we do process immediate loading cases, according to the pre-planned design
05. If the screw hole will be on the facial surface, what will be the solution?
- The solution could be: Abutment options or cement retained option.
- Each patient is unique case; therefore, we study the implant position and axis then we will provide the best solution in order to keep it as screw retained.

Wax-Up cases:

01. How do I plan for a Wax-up?
- Wax-Up can be in two different formats Digital (further discussion required) or manual (no discussion required) the Laboratory will follow the instructions as per the Job order.
02. 2. What is required for sending a Digital Smile Design (DSD) case?
The requirements are The Scan, The Photographs, and the number of units.
We require the following: impressions, bite registration, photographs, the number of units and the patient’s desire.
03. Will you provide guidance on how much is required for the preparation of the tooth/teeth?
Yes, we can provide photographs and/ or the preparation guide or index.
04. What “Temporary mock-up Options” can the Laboratory can provide?
The “Temporary Options” are Printed Shell, Silicone Index, Transparent Matrix and Transparent silicone key.
05. Can you make Preparation Guide/ Gingivectomy Guide?
Yes, we can make the Preparation Guide/ Gingivectomy Guide and crown lengthening guide.
06. How can I make a decision based on the CEJ or Wax-Up?
The decision can be made based on the completed design or as per the requirement of the Dentist. If there plan for the restorative crowns or veneers, we should follow the gingival level of wax up design putting in the considered CEJ and the root length.

But if no plans for restorative, then CBCT dicom file is required in order to follow the CEJ of the patient.
07. How the Laboratory creates the “Esthetic Crown Lengthening” ECL case?
By using the main guide line for a correct ECL (distance CEJ- Bone) 2, 2,5 or 3mm based on the periodontist cutting method


01. Which cement do you recommend?
For the cement shade, we are highly recommending to use the trail cement.
02. What will be the bonding protocol for Emax?
Ceramic etching: Hydrofluoric Acid 9.8% - Emax: 20-30s, feldspathic 60-90s Tooth etching: Phosphoric Acid 30-40% -Enamel 30s, Dentine 15s The remain steps depends on the cement type used.

We recommend you to follow the manufactures protocol
03. Are the Emax lithium disilicate unit’s acid etched at the Laboratory?
No, we do not do acid etching as part of our standard protocol. If you are requiring this, please write on the lab prescription form.
04. Do you sand-blast the zircon before sending the case?
Yes, we sand-blast the zircon before sending the case.
05. Can the cement change its shade with time?
If it contains Benzoyl Peroxide Yes.
06. Will the ceramic change its shade?
No, ceramic does not change shade.


01. Can Emax lithium disilicate mask the discoloration?
Depending on the grade of the stump shade discoloration, lithium disilicate can mask ND 4,5,6 and 7. But for the grey and black discoloration, we are recommending layered opaque zirconia or double crown.
02. If I use Emax lithium disilicate next to Zircon, could you match the shade perfectly?
